1. Daily Maintenance

Daily Inspection (30 minutes before operation): Focus on checking the hydraulic system pipes and joints for leaks. The hydraulic oil temperature should be maintained between 40-80°C (if below 40°C, preheat the device). Check the hopper, conveyor scraper, and spiral blades for deformation and wear. If scraper edge wear exceeds 5mm, replace it immediately. Check the engine oil level; it should be between the upper and lower limits. If insufficient, add the same type of oil (CF-4 grade diesel engine oil is recommended). Check the coolant level to ensure it is within the expansion tank scale to prevent engine overheating.

Weekly Maintenance (after operation): Clean the equipment surface, engine radiator, and hydraulic oil radiator to remove dust and asphalt residue. (High-pressure water jets can be used to clean the equipment at a pressure of ≤6 MPa to avoid impacting electrical components.) Check the travel tire pressure (standard pressure 800 kPa). If insufficient, inflate immediately. Clean any foreign matter on the tire surface. Regrease all lubrication points, especially the screed connection pins and travel wheel bearings, to ensure adequate lubrication.

2. Regular Maintenance Cycle

250-hour maintenance: Replace the engine oil (approximately 20L) and fuel filter (including primary and secondary filters). Before replacement, drain the old oil and clean the oil filter base. Check the hydraulic pump pressure. After starting the equipment, measure the main pump pressure using a pressure gauge. The standard value is 25 MPa. If the pressure is abnormal, adjust the relief valve. Check the screed heater for proper operation. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the heater. The normal range is 10-15Ω. If the resistance is abnormal, replace the heater.​

1000-Hour Maintenance: Replace the hydraulic oil filter (including the return and suction filters) and coolant (approximately 35L). When replacing the hydraulic oil filter, release the system pressure to prevent oil spraying. Check the tension of the conveyor chain. If the chain sag exceeds 30mm, adjust the tensioner. Inspect the equipment's electrical system, tighten the wiring harness connectors, and measure the battery voltage (should be no less than 24V). If the voltage is insufficient, recharge it.

5000-Hour Maintenance: Inspect the screed welds using an ultrasonic flaw detector, focusing on the screed joints and the heating tube mounting areas. If cracks are found, repair them promptly (using low-hydrogen electrodes and performing stress relief after welding). Replace the gear oil in the travel system reducer (approximately 8L). Drain the old oil and add new gear oil (GL-5 heavy-duty gear oil is recommended). Calibrate the intelligent control system parameters. Connect to the diagnostic computer and restore parameters such as paving speed and thickness control to standard values ​​to ensure application accuracy.

3. Key System Maintenance

Hydraulic System: Use XCMG's dedicated anti-wear hydraulic oil (recommended model L-HM46). Do not mix different brands or models of hydraulic oil to prevent oil deterioration and sludge clogging of hydraulic components. Replace the hydraulic oil every 2,000 hours. During replacement, drain the old oil thoroughly, clean the inside of the oil tank with a silk cloth (avoid using cotton yarn), and replace the oil tank air filter. Any abnormal noises, pressure fluctuations, or other malfunctions in the hydraulic system must be investigated by professional maintenance personnel. Unauthorized disassembly of precision components such as hydraulic pumps and motors is prohibited.

Electrical System: Regularly (monthly) inspect the insulation of the equipment wiring harness. If damaged, promptly bandage or replace it. In humid construction environments (such as the rainy season), install a moisture-proof cover on the electrical control cabinet and place desiccant inside the cabinet (replace monthly) to prevent moisture from shorting electrical components. Clean the cockpit touchscreen and sensors to avoid asphalt residue and dust that may affect operation and data acquisition accuracy. Asphalt Contamination Treatment: After operation, any residual asphalt mixture in the hopper, conveyor system, and screed must be promptly cleaned. Diesel fuel or a specialized asphalt cleaner should be used. After cleaning, apply anti-rust oil to prevent rusting. If the asphalt mixture solidifies on the surface of the equipment, do not use a hammer to clean it. Instead, use a heat gun to soften it before cleaning to avoid damaging the equipment components.
