XCMG's mining excavators offer a comprehensive tonnage range, from small and medium-sized to extra-large, covering operations from 20 to 125 tons. Their core performance parameters are consistently ahead of industry standards. The flagship model, the XE950GA, is a flagship 95-ton excavator with an operating weight of precisely 91,000 kg. Equipped with a Cummins QSX15-C500 mining engine with a rated power of 447.5 kW, it can easily handle heavy loads such as hard rock and iron ore mining. Its bucket capacity supports multiple sizes ranging from 4.6 to 8 m³. With a swing speed of 6.2 r/min and a main pump pressure of 34.3 MPa, it can load up to 12 m³ of loose material per load. At a large open-pit iron ore mine in northwest China, 23 XE950GA trucks and 50 60-ton mine trucks form a "dig-and-haul" unit, achieving an industry-leading monthly stripping volume of 7 million cubic meters and ore extraction of 2.8 million cubic meters. The ultra-large flagship model, the XE1250, represents the ultimate "mining giant." With an operating weight of 115,000 kg and a MAN D2868LUE632 engine rated at over 567 kW, it boasts bucket capacities ranging from 5.2 to 8.5 m³. Designed specifically for mines with annual production capacities exceeding 10 million tons, it offers a wide range of options. This model boasts a digging force of 680kN and a maximum digging depth of 9.8m. In comparative testing at a coal mine in Inner Mongolia, it achieved an 18% improvement in loading efficiency per unit time compared to competing models of the same tonnage, reducing monthly equipment investment costs by approximately 120,000 yuan.
The new energy series also performed exceptionally well. The XE380EV pure electric model is equipped with a large-capacity 801.2kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and utilizes four-cell DC fast charging technology, enabling a full charge in 1.5 hours. Combined with a 1.9-2.1m³ heavy-duty bucket, it achieved 12 hours of continuous operation per day (under low-to-medium-intensity conditions) at a non-metallic mine in Hebei Province. While achieving zero emissions, it consumes only 35 yuan per hour, significantly lower than the 120 yuan/hour fuel cost of traditional fuel-powered models. Furthermore, the 20-ton XE270EV, with its 180kWh battery capacity and 1.2m³ bucket, is a cost-effective choice for small and medium-sized mines. In operation at a limestone mine in Shandong, the equipment has maintained an uptime rate of over 96%, and its three-electric system has operated stably for over 5,000 hours without any problems.
